RIYADH: Security authorities in Jazan broke Ramadan fast on Tuesday with the fasting Saudi troops.
“Our southern borders are safe and this is due to the troops who have put their life on the line for the sake of the homeland under the motto ‘Steadfast Fighters’,” said Aldojse, Jazan region’s police chief.
The iftar meal was also joined by officers and employees of armed forces, border guards and the general security staff.
Aldojse said he was happy that “my brothers who are fellow officers and my children who are members of the armed forces and security guards could break the fast on this occasion together.”
“Our objective of preserving what belongs to us, such as our nation, will not only be for the present generation but also for our future generations as well.”
Aldojse thanked the Saudi leadership headed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman as well as Jazan Governor Prince Mohammed bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz for all of their support for the troops.
Aldojse, who is also the security committee’s chairman, thanked the troops for all of their sacrifices in doing their duty for the Kingdom.
