JEDDAH: Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif has reiterated that the government under Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman remains committed to the country’s security and development at all costs.
He was addressing the 23rd meeting of regional governors in Jeddah on Sunday. During the meeting, the governors paid their respects to the former governor of the Northern Borders Region, Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Mosaed, on the first anniversary of his death, and for spending 70 years serving the Kingdom.
Other issues on the meeting’s agenda focused on local administration, social media and its security and moral impact, strengthening social responsibility, and the pros and cons of marriage to foreigners.
The governors also reviewed recommendations made in previous annual meetings, and the report on the King Abdullah Program for Work Development in the regions.
The meeting concluded with a number of decisions and recommendations, which would be sent to King Salman.
