Director-General of the King Fahd Causeway Dhaif Allah Al-Otaibi said customs officers apprehended this year seven people who tried to cross the border without proper identity papers.

He added that of the seven, five were arrested as they tried to enter the Kingdom while two were caught attempting to leave the country. He said that none of them except one, an Indian national, carried any travel document or ID proof.

Al-Otaibi said that the King Fahd Causeway Customs deal with all types of smuggling activities at the entry and departure points.
