A fire that broke out in the Braiman Health Center on Sunday was caused by a short circuit in the air-conditioning system at the building, an official said. “The fire, which occurred at 4:15 p.m., did not cause any injuries,” said Abdul Rahman Al-Sohfi, directorate spokesman

“A female nurse working in the women’s bandaging room, however, experienced breathing difficulties and was rushed to the King Abdul Aziz University Hospital for treatment.”

The fire was noticed only in the women’s section.

Sami Badawood, Health Affairs director, and Khaled Bawaked, assistant director, were briefed on the status of workers and visitors at the hospital, said Al-Sohfi.
