Batha Customs inspectors foiled two different attempts to smuggle quantities of liquor, hashish and captagon capsules into the Kingdom.

According to Director General of Batha Customs at Daiffalla Al-Ataibi, the first attempt involved an Asian national who tried to smuggle in bottles of liquor hidden inside empty metal containers specifically designed for the purpose.

In the second attempt, two Arab nationals were caught as they wrapped 12.52-kg narcotic hashish and captagon capsules around their legs and thighs, he said.
