BAHA: Several master's degree students have launched a lawsuit against Baha University for excluding them from the institution because of SR36 million in unpaid fees.

The students had asked the Administrative Court on Monday to order the university to release their semester results and allow them to register for the next semester, according to a report in a local publication.

The court decided Tuesday that they should be allowed to register but will rule on other aspects of the matter after an investigation, which includes the unpaid fees. The students are basing their demands on a similar case in 2014 when the Asir Administrative Court ruled in favor of students at King Khaled University.

A source at Baha University said the ruling would be studied in time for the next court session.
