A seven-member American mayoral delegation concluded its visit to the Kingdom with the aim of enhancing bilateral relations between two countries.

The delegation, headed by Lori Cohen Moseley, mayor of the city of Miramar in Florida, was in Jeddah over the weekend in the concluding half of its visit to the Kingdom.

The delegation met with Prince Mansour bin Miteb, municipal affairs minister, Jeddah Mayor Hani Aburas and Shoura Council Deputy Chairman Mohammed Al-Jafri and the deputy governor of the Saudi General Investment Authority, to discuss issues of common interest.

They also visited the heritage district in downtown Jeddah and held a meeting with representatives from the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry at its headquarters.

They held talks with JCCI Secretary-General, Adnan Mandoura, who briefed them on the history of the chamber and shed light on business and investment prospects in the Kingdom.

Aburas explained aspects of forecasted civic developmental activity and development strategies up to the year 2033.

Jeddah Municipality officials also exchanged information on civic services and development, according to a statement made by the Jeddah Municipality.
