JUBAIL: Jubail Volunteer Club (JVC) at the Royal Commission for Jubail (RCJ) recently launched a Ramadan Food Box initiative in collaboration with Sadara Chemical Company to fulfill its social responsibility toward the community and meet the needy families' requirements during the holy month.

The initiative also offers an opportunity for volunteers to invest positive energy in a noble cause during the summer vacation.

Led by the Sadara director-general of public services, Abdul Aziz Al-Missned, a total of 120 Sadara and JVC volunteers participated by packing and distributing 1,070 boxes full of essential food items for needy families in Jubail city and neighboring villages, culminating in a massive 1,540 hours of volunteer work.

Abdullah Al-Muhammadi, director of the RCJ's Social Services Department, thanked the company for its support for the initiative, pointing out that this support comes as an extension of the distinguished partnership that began three years ago between Sadara and JVC, which have embarked on many initiatives together.
