One of the biggest events in golf takes place Friday when the 1st Annual Nofa Golf Tournament in association with Castrol tees off at Nofa Golf Resort.

With a shotgun start at 8 a.m. the tournament attracted 100 players with 27 in the waiting list who will chase handsome prizes up for grabs.

The tournament is an individual stroke play format in 3 divisions namely Men’s Division A and Division B and Ladies Division.

Castrol leads the list of corporate sponsors supporting the event as the title sponsor. American Express and Almarai Company are gold sponsors, Northern Trust and SACCO silver sponsor while the Nofa African Resort is the lunch sponsor.

Prince Sultan bin Mohammed bin Saud Al-Kabeer owns the Nofa Resorts Complex located some 85 kilometers west of Riyadh along the Makkah highway.
