RIYADH: Going stronger each passing year, the 9th Annual Pakistan Day Open Golf Tournament takes place on Saturday at Dirab Golf & Country Club.

What began as a Pakistanis-only event has become an important fixture at Dirab that players look forward to competing.

The two ball Texa Scramble format competition with a 7:30 a.m. shotgun start has attracted more than 100 players that will be vying for the major prizes scaled down to the fifth place. Skill prizes for longest drive men’s and ladies and closest to the pin are also up for grabs on top of the raffle draw prizes.

The tournament has been given a big lift from generous sponsors National Bank of Pakistan, Saudi Orix Leasing Co., American Express and Adma Shamran Trading Co.
