Al Kaki rolled to its second straight victory, 70-66 over JBC in the Jeddah Lifestylez Basketball League at Bin Mahfouz court here.

Al Kaki showed heart in the dying seconds even as JBC stuck it out until the final buzzer had sounded.

JBC applied quick foul to stop the clock but Kaki converted both free throws to ice the game and complete back-to-back wins in the young tournament.

Coy Cabalu scored conference high 32 points for Kaki and were adjudged as the Lifestylez Best Player of the game while Padilla and Paclibar each had 18 points for JBC.

Saudia City brought down Al Ruwais 49-44. Saudia City team work was superb in the crucial seconds of the game as Al Ruwais tried hard on defense. Castro connected all his free throws near the end of the game for Saudia’s first win. Castro top-scored with 18 points for Saudia City and was adjudged as the JBL Best Player of the game.

Al Salamah 2 bounced back from its opening day loss to beat Al Baladia 54-50 in another heart-breaking end game result.

Salamah 2 played an organized offense and looked for the open man to break the defensive wall of l Baladia in the dying seconds of the game. Bajas scored 13 points for Al Salamah 2 and was adjudged as the Best Player of the game while Banadora had 14 points for Baladia.
