Alinma Bank mentored by ITBR Chairman Bobby Ting became the first to repeat as Team of the Week with another solid display during the fourth session in the Interbank Tenpin Bowling League 2014 Conference at the Universal Bowling Center here.

Alinma demolished previsou week honoree Banque Saudi Fransi 3-1 (420-220 points). Jerry Barce led Alinma to victory with an impressive 814 four-game series, with Rainier Torres on 807 and Abdulrahman Ahmed 781.

Equally impressive were Lito Tolentino and Angelo Train who tallied 572 and 533 in three games while Willie Bondoc added 322.

BSF avoided a shutout by winning the second game. Captain Jun Bantug claimed the first Elite Bowler accolade with his 258 scratch score and a four-game series of 812 with zero handicap. Angel Diaz Jr. was the top scorer in BSF with 847. He was supported by Dawood Sereno (732), Noel Morales (712) and Edwin Timango (706).

Riyad Bank continued its winning streak when it blanked Saudi Investment Bank team in four games (340-0).

James Frizzle was at his best with his 894 that gave him the Bowler of the Week plum. Team captain Zohair Oqilan rolled 770 in support of Frizzle while Ric Singson tallied 504. Ronald Cruz, Rolan Garcia, Mixi Lechuga and Sonny Alviso downed 375, 370, 349 and 318 in two games each while Freddie Solomon had 154.

SAIB veteran Joey Salem carded 760. Straight bowler Eddison Austria had 667, Jonathan Avenido 634 and captain Dong Calub 628. Gil Catulay and Julius Queypo contributed 298 and 277.

The match between SAMA-Abana and Saudi Hollandi Bank ended in a 2-2 draw on 290 points each. Captain Teody Zulaybar effectively maneuvered his five-man team to match the performance of their opponent. Father-and-son duo of Bernie and Koko Torres led SAMA-Abana with respective series of 849 and 772. The other scorers were Jun Macarandan (732), captain Teody Zulaybar (700) and David Smart (651).

Saudi Hollandi Bank managed to win the second and third games to get a draw. The trio of Arnel Bernabe, Gerry Ayonon and Clem Salazar compiled 840, 813 and 737 while Rommel Calungcagin and Gil Hembra rolled 584 and 487. Val Baraquio and captain Greg Antonio had 184 and 127.

Shabab SABB overpowered handicap-rich BSF-CBG 340-0. SABB heavy weights Jaffer Al-Kathiri and Arnold Jesena shot 846 and 727. Rey Bautista and Mike Shariff made 536 and 525 in three games while captain Ahmed Qarquosh and Edwin Nunez had 415 and 350.

Alfred Estrada top-scored in BSF-CBG with 690 followed by Guilbert Masias (652) and Abet Minoza (651). Captain Ken Hechanova and Art Bumatay tallied 567 and 465 while Andy Illanza rolled 344.
