After three teams shared honors the previous week in a rare occurrence, it’s back to normal with Bowling City claiming the Team of the Week award during the 13th session in the Thursday League 11th Season for Sarawat Superstores Cup at the Bowling City in Sultana Center.

The host bowlers, who figured in a tie with Orient Watch and Sarawat Superstores for the coveted accolade, were unchallenged this time on the top tally of 32 points.

Three points adrift on 29 were D’ Barkads folowed by Sarawat on 28, with Orient Watch and Habagat tied on 20. Pindot tallied 19 points, while D’ Engineers, Bulacan Knight and Fineboyz Rhinos brought up the last three spots on 12, 11 and 9 in that order.

Francis Guron made it a Bowling City double after he rolled the high series of 660 on lines of 173, 233 and 209 to emerge the Bowler fo the Week.

Strongly backing up Guron was Cris Villavelez on 601. Ruben Grino and Frank Afurong on 560 and 547 were the other players to go full games, while Pancho Cuevas added 224-192 and Archie Santos 185.

D’ Barkads, overtaken by Bowling City at second place after the 12th week, had Romy Bunagan at the helm on 620 followed by Rudy Valenzuela 589, Bing Amolo 566, Leo Edejer 164-211 and Dan Ednave 159-190 and Rey Beltran 202-180.

At Sarawat the top scorer was Paolo Allego on 629 . Bandar Al Dossary and Gerry Mandanas were the other players to complete their cards on 555 and 553. Contributing two games each were team captain Igna Salgado 190-167, Mohd Amri 178-199 and Alex Flora 222-204.

Edwin Ronquillo with 601 led Orient Watch that also netted 587 from Ello Manalo, 573 from Sami Al Qarni, 156-189 from Danny Bautista, 193-172 from Jay Bengco and 166-183 from Jawett Carion.

Taking charge at Habagat was the trio of Edu Toledo 611, Edris Mangoda 587 and Hadi Pacheo 576.
