RIYADH: Team competition takes place for the second straight week at Dirab Golf & Country Club when the 2nd Annual Emirates NBD Open Golf Tournament 2017 tees off on Saturday.
This two-ball Texas Scramble with an 8 a.m. shotgun start follows the 5th Annual CCOR Canadian Open Golf Tournament, a four-ball event won by the quartet of of Michael Brennan, Dan Summers, Turk Hussain, and Jad Salim.
Despite the cold weather golf enthusiasts are expected to come out to try their luck in the competition with major prizes to be awarded up to the fifth place. Skill prizes are also up for grabs for longest drive for men and ladies and closest to the pin.
All participants will receive goody bag with GNM golf polo shirt, Puma cap, a sleeve of Titleist ProV1 balls and golf towel courtesy of sponsor Emirates NBD Saudi Arabia.
