MEDINA: Hasnain scored a thrilling four-run win over debutant Shaheen in the second Natco Cup twenty20 cricket tournament organized by the Medina Cricket Association, which started here recently.

Hasnain put on 162 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Umer Hassnain top-scored with 56 runs. Usman gave him support with 47 and later Khadim propped up the innings with an unbeaten 21.

Nabeel from Shaheen XI claimed 3 wickets.

In reply, Shaheen went down fighting and scored 158 runs.

Talha Fayyaz (47), Talha (22) and Rizwan (22) were the other run getters. Shafiq captured two wickets.

In another match, Medina Diamonds routed Pak Eagles by 6 wickets.

Pak Eagle chose to bat first and managed to get 143 runs. Sharafat was the highest scorer with 49 runs.

Aqueel and Faisal bagged 3 wickets each while Shahid and Anees shared 4 wickets.

Medina Diamonds easily achieved their target for the loss of 4 wickets. Ali Shair scored an unbeaten 68 runs.

In the last match Airport XI set a target of 180 for Hasnain.Tousief scored an unbeaten 66 runs while Wasee Ahmed contributed 44. Farooq bagged 2 wickets.

In reply Hasnain failed to achieve the target and managed 130 runs. Umer was the highest scorer with 47 runs. Usman chipped in with 20. Pervaiz claimed 3 wickets.
