OKLAHOMA CITY: Joe Johnson hit a high-arching jumper as time expired to give the Brooklyn Nets a 95-93 comeback victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night.

Johnson’s game-winning shot capped an improbable rally from a 16-point second-half deficit for the Nets (11-21), led by a season-high 29 points from point guard Deron Williams.

Brooklyn trailed 77-61 late in the third quarter, but Williams scored 18 in the second half and helped set the stage for Johnson’s last-second shot. Paul Pierce added 18 points for the Nets.

Kevin Durant led the Thunder (25-7) with 24 points. Oklahoma City was playing its fourth straight game without injured All-Star guard Russell Westbrook.

The loss was the second straight for the Thunder, only the second time they’ve lost two in a row this season.

Knicks 105, Spurs 101: Forward Carmelo Anthony returned to the New York lineup to score 27 points and grab 12 rebounds in the Knicks’ 105-101 win over the San Antonio Spurs.

Anthony, who missed the past three games with sprained right ankle, was 10 of 20 from the field in 39 minutes.

New York (10-21) came into the game with the second-worst record in the league but shot 51 percent from the field.

The Knicks got 27 points from guard Iman Shumpert and 10 from center Andrea Bargnani.

Marco Belinelli had a season-high 32 points to lead San Antonio (25-8).

Warriors 123, Heat 114: Guard Stephen Curry scored 36 points as the Golden State Warriors, the hottest team in the NBA with seven consecutive wins, knocked off the two-time defending champion Miami Heat 123-114.

The Warriors (21-13) and Curry dented the Heat’s defense for the highest totals by an opposing team and player this season.

Forward David Lee added 32 points for the Warriors, who shot 56.1 percent from the floor.

The Heat (24-8) won eight of their previous nine games, but they could not stop the Warriors’ offense.

Miami forward LeBron James finished with a team-high 26 points and a season-high eight turnovers.

Bulls 94, Celtics 82: Center Joakim Noah barely missed a triple-double, finishing with 17 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists, and led the Chicago Bulls to a 94-82 victory over the Boston Celtics.

The Bulls tried to get Noah that final assist, but teammate Jimmy Butler missed a corner jumper off a pass from Noah with eight seconds left.

Forward Carlos Boozer added 16 points for the Bulls and forward Luol Deng scored 14. Chicago (13-18) has won seven of its last eight home games against the Celtics.

Cavaliers 87, Magic 81 (OT): Center Anderson Varejao finished with 18 points and a career-high 25 rebounds, and the Cleveland Cavaliers earned an 87-81 overtime victory over the Orlando Magic.

The Cavaliers (11-21) snapped a six-game losing streak by outscoring the Magic (10-22) 8-2 in overtime.

Two of the baskets were layups by the 6-foot-11 Varejao, who added three assists.

Grizzlies 99, Suns 91: The Phoenix Suns are running circles around most opponents, except for the Memphis Grizzlies.

Memphis managed to slow the game at times to pedestrian pace and the previously sizzling Suns could not respond.

The Grizzlies (14-17) also beat the Suns (19-12) in Memphis on Dec. 3.

Other than the losses to the Grizzlies, the Suns lost two other games over the past month.

Forward Zach Randolph led the Grizzlies with 20 points and 15 rebounds.

Suns guard Goran Dragic scored a career-high 33 points and added seven assists.

Jazz 96, Bucks 87: Guard Gordon Hayward scored a game-high 22 points and center Derrick Favors had 21 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Utah Jazz to a 96-87 win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Jazz (11-24) used a 13-4 run in the final minutes to seal the victory over the Bucks (7-25) in a game between the two teams with the worst records in the NBA.

Trail Blazers 134, Bobcats 104: Guards Wesley Matthews and Damian Lillard combined for 49 points as Portland dismantled the Charlotte Bobcats 134-104.

Matthews (25 points) and Lillard (24) led the Trail Blazers who made 21-of-33 three-pointers, including 11-of-13 in the first quarter.

Center Al Jefferson led Charlotte with 19 points.

76ers 113, Kings 104: Forward Thaddeus Young scored 28 points and point guard Evan Turner added 24 points, 10 rebounds and six assists as the Philadelphia 76ers completed a 113-104 win over the Sacramento Kings.

Guard Tony Wroten came off the bench to score 21 points in 31 minutes for the 76ers.
