Centuries by BSF Khawar (101) in Super League, Shehbaz’s (134) and Kamran Hadi’s (109 n.o.) of Amer Holidays in Premier League (I) and Green Bangla’s Kakon Khan (103) in Premier League (II) stole the limelight in the ongoing Shehriyar Mirza Memorial tournament being organized by Riyadh Cricket Association and played at the RCA grounds.

In the Super League 40 over match at RCA-2 grounds, Khawar’s brilliant century (101) helped BSF to tie the match against KFSH Blues. Chasing 332 runs for a win BSF were bowled out for 331. Khawar was well supported by Tasleem (50) and Naveed (40) in their run chase. Saqib (4/72) and Imtiaz Mohammed (2-60) & Raja Gulraiz Altaf (2-55) were the successful bowlers for KFSH Blues. Earlier batting first KFSH Blues scored 331 for 9 in their allotted over. Imtiaz Mohammad (74) top-scored for KFSH Blues and was well supported by Saqib Abbasi (63), Nasir Abbasi (65), Khurram Baig (57), and Abdul Malik (35). Iftikhar (2/60), Yasser (2/62) & Waseem (2/35) were the main wickets taker for BSF.

In Premier League (I) match at RCA-1 ground, aided by Shehbaz belligerent (134), Kamran Hadi’s swashbuckling (109 n.o.) and Samiullah Baltistani fine (81) helped Amer Holidays score massive 412 in their allotted over’s and coasted to big 261 runs victory over Pak Fighters. Bazil (65) and Shoaib (25) batted well and contributed to Pak Fighters total of 149 all out. Baber Sher (2-16) and Aslam Talib Hussain (2-22) was the main wicket takers for Amer Holidays. In another match at KFSH-1 ground, Pak Eagles beat KFSH Green by 22 runs. Sajid Ali (42), Shahid Ali (34) and Yasir Khan (36) batted well in Pak Eagles score of 208 for 8 in their allotted over. In reply, KFSH Green was bowled out for 187. At RCA-1 ground Attieh Steel beat Al-Hamra by 59 runs. Nasir (31), Amir (57), Niaz (36) and Aisf Butt (45) contributed to Attieh Steel score of 209. Chasing the target Al-Hamra was bowled out for 150.

In Premier League (II) match, Green Bangla aided by Kakon Khan quick fire (103) beat TBCC by 51 runs. Batting first Green Bangla scored 198 for 7 in their allotted over. Mithun (35) was the other main scorer for Green Bangla. Amin Ul Islam (4-22) and Jakir Hossain (3/29) destroyed TBCC and helped Green Bangla to easy victory. At RCA-3 ground, Saham beat Imran XI by 5 wickets. Batting first Imran XI scored 186 for 6 with Mahmood (60) and Shafeeq (40) top-scoring for them. Shabeer bagged 2 wickets for Saham. Chasing the target assited by Waseem’s fine (70) and useful contribution from Nadeem (35) and Majid (35) Saham romped home losing 5 wickets in 18 over.

In Thursday league match at RCA-3 ground, Al-Jomaih Shell scored an exciting one run victory over Pak Sonic. Batting first Pak Sonic scored 205 in their allotted over.

In reply AlJomaih Shell aided by Naseer (46), Sameer (37), Aslam Mir Khan (25) Parvez (22) and Ayyaz (20) romped home losing 6 wickets.
