RIYADH: Lahore Lions outplayed Amer Holidays by 129 runs in the third round of the Alkharaj League American Express Twenty20 cricket tournament organized by the Riyadh Cricket Association.

Lahore Lions batted first and scored a record 314 for 3. Qamar (71), Asmat (66), Muzaffar (48) and Awais (35) were among the runs. Shahbaz took 2 wickets. In reply, Amer Holidays were restricted to 185 runs. Samiullah (59) and Irfan (54) showed some fight. Amir took 4 while Nawaz and Armaghan shared 2 wickets each.

In another match, Pak Shaheen registered a thumping 94-run win over Shouraim. Pak Shaheen made first use of the wicket and 293 for 6. Ishaq Ahmed (138) and Ibrar (106) demolished the rival bowling attack. Hassan picked up 2 wickets.

In reply, Shouraim were restricted to 199. Zeeshan was the highest scorer with 56 runs. Vicky (38) and Hassan (36) were the other contributors. Javed grabbed 2 wickets.

Later, CKK lost to KFSH Blues by 5 wickets. CKK scored 178 for 7. Nouman (51) and Najeeb (31) were the main scorers. Imtiyaz, Usman and Jabar took 2 wickets each. KFSH Blues got to the target after 17 overs. Nadeem Babar (64) and Nasir Abbasi (56) were the other run getters. Nouman took 3 wickets.
