RIYADH: Lahore Badshah eased past KFSH Blues by 27 runs in a second round match in the Al-Kharj Cricket League Twenty20 Cup organized by the Riyadh Cricket League.

Lahore Badshah elected to bat first and posted 259 for 6. Fahad Malik top-scored with 85 runs followed by Yassir 55 and Fahad Munir 50. Meraj and Irshad picked up 2 wickets each.

In reply, KFSH Blues started with a bang with opener Nasir Abbasi scored 49 off 13 balls. Later, Irshad (82) and Khurram (32) fought hard, but could not help their team reach the required victory target. Fahad Malik and Amir picked 2 wickets each.

In another match, Lahore Lions scored 218 against Saudi Jaguars. Shoukat, Owais and Arsalan picked one wicket each. Saudi Jaguars managed 146 in reply. Arsalan (56) and Mohammed (23) did their best. Lahore Lions won by 72 runs.

Later, CKK beat Punjab Lions by 5 wickets. Punjab Lions scored 130. Imran Kifayat picked 5 wickets while Nouman got 2. CKK achieved the target after 12.4 overs. Najeeb remained unbeaten on 51.

Sama Steel scored 205 for 7 against Holidays. Samiullah picked 2 wickets. Amir Holidays managed 189 for 9. Kamran (40), Saeed (34) and Irfan (32) were among the main scorers. The Steelmen won by 16 runs.

In the Huraymala League, FUCHS beat Indian Strikers by 4 wickets. Indian Strikers scored 191 for 8. Shehin (53) and Junais (44) were the main scorers. Rizwan picked 3 wickets while Asghar and Shahbaz shared 4 wickets. FUCHS achieved their target off 19.1 overs. Shahbaz (62), Riaz (32) and Rizwan (25) made the win possible. Sunil and Anwar picked 2 wickets each.

In the Hayer League, Flynas Avengers beat Seham by 92 runs. Flynas scored 194 thanks to contributions from Zafar (62), Junaid (31) and Zahid (26). Alamgir picked 4 wickets while Ikram and Yassir got 2 each. Seham in reply scored 102. Junaid bagged 3 wickets while Zafar got 2.

TBCC beat Pak Eagles by 80 runs. TBCC scored 208. Faisal added 56, Cherian 27, Aneesh 22 and Hakeem 21. Pak Eagles managed 128 in reply. Faisal picked 5 wickets while Hakeem got 2. Kingdom Warriors routed Riyadh Royals by 119 runs. Thanks to an unbeaten 101 by Zeeshan. Ahmed and Faran picked up 2 wickets each. Riyadh Royals could only score 94. Asad and Adil shared 6 wickets.

Imran XI got the better of Rawdah Heats by 26 runs. Imran XI scored 178 for 8. Rawdah Heats managed 152. In Diriyah League, L’usine scored a comfortable 64-run win over Delhi Dare Devils.

L’usine put on board 201 runs. Talal top-scored with 103. Rauf gave him company with 42. Dare Devils managed 137. Usman and Naveed picked 3 wickets each while Faizan got 2.
