VANCOUVER, British Columbia: Robert Luongo made 25 saves, and the Vancouver Canucks beat the Minnesota Wild 2-1 on Tuesday night for their sixth straight win.

Luongo's home shutout streak against the Wild ended at 228 minutes, 26 seconds but he held on for the win. He still hasn't lost a game in regulation this season.

Luongo lowered his goals-against average to 1.45, behind only Ottawa's Craig Anderson. Kevin Bieksa and Jannik Hansen scored for Vancouver (8-2-2).

Devin Setoguchi had the only goal for the Wild (6-6-1), whose two-game winning streak was snapped. Minnesota hasn't won in Vancouver since Jan. 31, 2009 (0-9-2).

Darcy Kuemper stopped 28 shots in a losing effort in his NHL debut. Kuemper was called up because Josh Harding was dealing with the effects of medication he takes for multiple sclerosis.

Flyers 3 Jets 2: In Winnipeg, Manitoba, Brayden Schenn, Kimmo Timonen and Tye McGinn scored to lead the Philadelphia Flyers against the Winnipeg Jets.

The Flyers (6-7-1), coming off a 5-2 loss in Toronto, won on the road for the second time this season. Jakub Voracek had two assists.

Andrew Ladd scored both goals for the Jets (5-6-1), the last in the final seconds. Winnipeg was coming off a 1-0 win in Ottawa on Saturday.

Ilya Bryzgalov was solid in net for the Flyers, who were outshot 26-23.

Al Montoya recorded his first loss as a starter for the Jets. Ondrej Pavelec replaced Montoya in the third after what was reported as a lower-body injury for Montoya.

The Flyers took a 2-1 lead in the first, even though they were outshot 9-6 by the Jets.

Montoya didn't have much of a chance when Schenn redirected Voracek's pass right in front of the net on Philadelphia's second shot of the game at 8:07.

Winnipeg tied it up at 14:12, when Blake Wheeler fed Ladd just in front of the Flyers net and he squeezed one past Bryzgalov's short side.

A late cross-checking penalty to defenseman Zach Redmond was costly, with Timonen slamming the puck down a clear path between the faceoff circles that Montoya wasn't fast enough to block.

There was no scoring in the second, although Winnipeg again outshot the Flyers 10-6 for the period. There was also a short scrap between Jets defenseman Mark Stuart and McGinn.

Senators 2 Sabres 0: In Ottawa, Craig Anderson made 42 saves and Erik Karlsson and Erik Condra scored goals less than two minutes apart in the second period as the Ottawa Senators defeated the Buffalo Sabres.

Anderson, who picked up his second shutout of the season, was especially sharp in the third period with the Sabres pressing for the tie as the Senators snapped a mini two-game slide.

Ryan Miller made 29 saves in taking the loss for Buffalo.

Scoreless after the first period, the Senators had a number of great chances in the second but couldn't beat Miller until Karlsson moved in shorthanded and blasted a shot just over the Buffalo goalie's left pad at 15:20.

Condra then doubled the Ottawa 1:54 later, banging home a loose puck off a scramble in front Miller's goal.

Daniel Alfredsson had a chance to open the scoring for the Senators on the power play prior to the two-goal barrage, but the Ottawa captain's one-timer missed the net with Miller at his mercy.

Buffalo had a chance to get back in the game midway through the third when Ottawa's Jim O'Brien went off for holding and Kyle Turris was whistled for high sticking to set up a two-man advantage for 14 seconds. But Anderson and the Senators penalty killers did the job against a Sabres power play that finished the night 0-for-4.

Ottawa's Jakob Silfverberg had a chance to stretch the Senators' lead to three on a power play later in the period, but Miller sprawled to make a diving save at the side of the Buffalo net.

Stars 4 Oilers 1: In Edmonton, Alberta, Kari Lehtonen made 35 saves and the Dallas Stars extended their winning streak to four games with a 4-1 victory over the Edmonton Oilers.

Jaromir Jagr, Ryan Garbutt, Brenden Dillon and Eric Nystrom scored for the Stars, who have won five of their last six.

Taylor Hall scored for the Oilers, who have lost six of seven.

Dallas had the best chance in the early going as Cody Eakin had a partial breakaway but was stopped by a nice pad save from Oilers starter Devan Dubnyk, who made 25 saves.

Ducks 3 Blackhawks 2: In Chicago, Viktor Fasth made two stops in the shootout to remain perfect in six starts and the Anaheim Ducks beat the Chicago Blackhawks in a matchup of the top two teams in the Western Conference.

After Jonathan Toews converted the first shootout attempt for Chicago, Fasth stopped Patrick Kane's backhander and denied Brandon Saad on the right side of the goal to become the first goalie to win his first six NHL starts since Dan Ellis with Dallas and Nashville from Feb. 18, 2004 to Nov. 29, 2007.

Nick Bonino and Corey Perry scored in the tiebreaker for Anaheim, which improved to 3-1 on its season-high, six-game road trip.
