After a long silence, Magnolia Ice Cream created some noise by winning a Team of the Week and Bowler of the Week double during the 8th session in the Sarawat Superstores Thursday Bowling League 13th Season at the Bowling City in Sultanah Center.

Magnolia then known as Al Kabeer Frozen Foods which won the 13th Season was unheard of after taking honors during the second week. In its retun to the podium Magnolia posted the top tally of 30 points.

Five points adrift at second place was BCT-Hokbi Fashion with Sawary Energy and Habagat tied on 24 points.

D’ Barkads, the previous week honoree, tallied 20 points in fifth place followed by Carling Sport Wear 18 and AL Striker 15. RJ Tumbador and Al Murjana filled the last two spots on 14 and 10.

Bandr Al Dossary paved the way for a Magnolia double when he shot the high series of 676 on lines of 221, 192 and 224 that gave him the Bowler of the Week plum.

Igna Salgado and Mohd. Al Amri both enjoyed good games to be on 589 and 565 to support Al Dossary at Magnolia which used a late push to win the session’s points race.

Jay-R de Dios at 558 was the fourth player to go full games on 558, while Daryl Loquias had 190-172 and Jowett Carrion 222 for Magnolia.

BCT-Hokbi had Rey Beltran and Nezar Al Hamwi taking charge at 626 and 616 with Paul Antiporda on 574, Rally Zamora 188-171, Yasser Hokbi 180-203, and Nanding Siasoco 168-136.

Sawary Energy rotated six players to build its total, led by Jimmy Urbano on 627. Jun Pamintuan added 614, Edwin Ronquillo 553, Reggie Mendoza 513, Alex flora 193 and Jess Pineda 201-145.

Over at Habagat the top scorere was Med Ramos on 609 followed by Richard Antonio 587 and Manny Tibay 578. With two games each were Rommel Cagampang 201-191, Edu Toledo 183-172 and Geo Mangaliman 161-165.

Leading the way at Habagat were Romy Bunagan 639, Leo Edejer 585 and Obie Ycasas 533.

Hadi Pacheco was the main man at Carling Sport on 604 with Carlos Constantino on 550 and Andy Yumena on 533.
