JEDDAH: My Care Hala, Crown Steel, Dopco Stars and AOT qualified for the semifinal stage in the Premier Division while the Morning and Afternoon League teams were still fighting it out for a quarterfinal berth in Western Province Cricket Association organized tournament here

In the Premier League, AOT got the better of Hala friends by 6 wickets in a must win situation. Hala Friends posted 144 for 8 in their stipulated overs. Bilal Khan top- scored with 34 runs. Hassan Malik got 29. Zeeshan claimed 3 for 18 and Nasir Iqbal 2 for 14. In reply AOT scored 148 for 4 off 98 balls through Faisal Mehmood (52) and Tahir (60) to enter the semifinals

My Care Hala continued their winning streak as they ousted Crown Steel by 7 wickets. Crown Steel was bowled out for 166. Waqas Ausaf (48), Abu Huraira (41) and Abid Naseem (28) were the main contributors. Adnan bagged 3 for 23. Jameel, Tariq Mehmood and Amjad chipped in with 2 wickets each. MCH responded with 168 for 3 off 90 balls as Qamar Abbas hammered an unbeaten 93 runs. Moazzam Shoukat stroked 53. Abid Naseem claimed 2 for 21.
