JEDDAH: Unbeaten My Care Hala clashes with talented ACE Travel in the final match of the Ace & Initial Saudi Premier League T20 Tournament.

In the second eliminator round match, ACE Travel beat dark horse Deccan Knights by 5 wickets. This event is jointly sponsored by ACE Travel & Tours and Initial Service Group and co-sponsored by ALS Borderless Logistics, JOTUN Saudi Arabia, KHIND Electronics, MIZO Juices (Arrow Foods), SIPCO (Pepsi) and UT Lines.

Deccan Knights, after winning the toss, elected to bat first against the ACE Travels and collapsed for a paltry 146-7 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

Except for the in-form skipper Ather Abdul Quddus 47, ion man Wajid Samdani 33, Hamed Ba Hadeq 23 and Naveed 10 no other Deccan Knight batsman could impress with the bat against the strong bowling line of ACE Travel. Left arm fast bowler Sami Khan took 2-20, left arm spinner Faheem Pasha took 2-28 while fast bowlers Moazzam and Abdul Wahid took one wicket each for 21 & 18 respectively.

In reply, e ACE Travel reached the target 148-5 in 15.3 overs and won the match by 5 wickets. Shahzad Ahmed scored the highest runs for ACE Travel with unbeaten 57 runs while skipper Parvez Khan was unbeaten on 19 runs. The other batsmen who contributed runs were Moazzam 21, Abdul Wahid 15 and Maqsood 14 runs.

Wth this victory the ACE Travel entered the final of the prestigious Saudi Premier League T20 event opposite the unbeaten and disciplined My Care Hala Premier.

Shahzad Ahmed was named man of the match for his uneaten 57 runs in 31 balls.

My Care Hala Premier will play the final match against Ace Travel at JCA-1. Umpires assigned are Syed Azam Khan & Najeeb Jeelani. The reserve umpire will be Kumar Krishnan. For the final match the referee will be the director of SPL, Haroon Abdullah Bin Mahfooz.. Scorers will be Sayeed Ahmed & Shakeel Razzaq Khan. Captain’s Interview will be at 8:45 a.m. Teams photo session will be at 9:10 a.m. Toss follows at 9:20 a.m. The match will start at 9:30 a.m. The break for the Friday prayers and lunch will be from 11:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Second innings will start: at 2 p.m. The prize distribution function will be at the ground at 4 p.m. Large number of invitees are expected and the sponsors’ representatives will be the VIP guests at the JCA Complex.
