JEDDAH: My Care Hala Premier, MCH Green and Hala International School scored wins over their respective opponents during the 9th week matches of the CIT Saudi Premier League Twenty20 cricket tournament.
Hala International School comfortably beat KAIA by 43, thanks to Amir Siddique’s 131 runs, which included 12 fours and 11 towering sixes.
Shahbaz Rasheed’s fine all-round show (32 runs and 2-39) enabled unbeaten MCH Premier to rout Peeran XI by 7 wickets to qualify for the knockout stage.
Later, Mani’s deadly spell of 4 for 22 helped MCH Green to a thrilling two-wicket win over Malik.
In the other matches, Naseem Al-Zahra shot down MB Stars by 54 runs, Pepsi Deccan got the better of Pak Shaheen by six wickets and Ace Travel made short work of Hyderabad Sharks by 75 runs to move into second spot.
