JEDDAH: Midget Orange of coach Glenn Musngi beat Red 52-44 in the 6-12 bracket of the 3rd season FAME Gensoul Basketball tournament here.

It was an exciting ballgame as both teams displayed their basketball talent at early age in the whole game. Michael Maddatu scored 38 points for Orange and was adjudged as the Gensoul best player of the game while Frederick Angadol top-scored with 13 points for Red.

Fame Gensoul is under the leadership of coach Sam Sabangan, Edwin Gonzales (Tournament Commissioner), Nak Santiago, Andy Eslabon and Vicky Navarro.

Junior Grey of coach Ali Gaspar defeated Orange 64-56. Herian Jake Sena had 30 points for Grey and was adjudged as player of the game while Harrieth Pandapatan scored 14 points for Orange.

Midget Blue of coach Ernel Paner beat Yellow 52-34. Aldrine JoeFrancisco scored 16 points and was adjudged as the Gensoul player of the game while John Moses Sadang scored 17 points for Yellow.

Juniors Blue of coach Ernel Paner and asst. coach Carlo Carbo defeated Black 54-52. Blue showed heart in the dying seconds as Black played tough defense. Rafael Gino Oliva led Blue m with 15 points and was adjudged as player of the game while Job Emmanuel Acedera had 16 points for Black.

Seniors Red of coach Gerry Acosta beat Blue 89-88 in overtime. Blue was ahead of 2 points with the game clock down to 8 seconds but a clear pass at the sideline which Hector Alcala converted from three-point area sealed the win. Jomar Nalus had 27 points for Red Team and was adjudged as player of the game while Raffy David led Blue with 34 points.

Thursday, Midget Red defeated Violet 24-23. Zydrick Amores had 9 points for Red and was adjudged as player of the game while Gabriel Sean Carbo scored 9 points for Violet.

Junior Yellow of coach Raffy David beat Black 48-39. Gerry Acosta chipped in 26 points for Yellow and was adjudged as player of the game while Job Emmanuel Acedera had 17 points for Black.

Midget Black of Donald Dolloso defeated Grey 48-36. Justin Durante scored 32 points for Black and was adjudged as player of the game while Alexander Adam Romualdo made 19 points for Grey.

Senior Black beat Green 64-57. Glenn Musngi led the Black with 27 points and was adjudged as the Gensoul player of the game while Donald Dolloso had 19 points.
