JEDDAH: Net Channel closed out another busy eight-game week schedule by beating Luna Milk 79-77 while Arabian Gulf Maid keep alive its flagging hopes with a 64-58 triumph over B-Cola in the the ISA-Modon Basketball Tournament 2016 at the Industrial City Plaza basketball court on the outskirts of Jeddah.

Among the late starters in the tournament, King Fahd Armed Forces Hospital rebounded from its first game defeat against Firnaz GTravel 104-103 in a close Inter-Company Reinforced Group B match.

To begin the week, BRC downed Afia 68-59 in the first game Thursday in Inter-Company Bonafide Group A. BRC Steel took care of business against AFIA International with Sean Baysa at the helm on 23 points and Rambon contributing 14 points while enjoying outstanding play in all departments of the game. BRC secured the last semifinal from its group with its third win in six games behind Salem Husni, a 79-46 winner over Al Hurafi in the second game Thursday, Almarai and Attieh Steel. Baysa was the Best Player of the game.

Unbeaten Salem Husni used its height advantage and balanced offense to dominate Al Hurafi, as Best Player Bisda, Manabat and Mangulamas scored 50% of the game total.

Ideal Warriors with Best Player Constantino and Osmena hitting 17 points apiece defeated Hempel Paints 73-64 in Inter-Company Reinforced A. Hempel Paints only dominated the game during the third quarter but fell short when the big men of the Warriors took charge in the fourth.

With the win, AGM threw the rice for last qualifying spot in Inter-Company C wide open among lower-ranked teams. AGM got a lift offensively from Billena with 16 points.

Sadafco handed sponsor team Perfetto its first defeat 86-62 in a clash of top teams in Reinforced Group A.

From out of nowhere Abaiz’s baskets came just in time, mostly from free throws. Net Channel disrupted the offense of Luna Milk during the closing minutes of the last quarter to score its fourth straight victory in Inter-Company Group D.

Cotamen and Pregillana’s early rally confused Luna and forced several turnovers in the first half. With only two players from Luna scoring in the beginning of the third, Net Channel took advantage and maintained balanced scoring till the end.
