Getting better with each tournament, the OFBL (Overseas Filipino Basketball League) has partnered with Reza Hygiene for its 6th Conference tentatively set to open Aug. 8 at the Timeout Sports Academy gymnasium on Television Street, Ghulail District on the outskirts of Jeddah.

Inspired by the victory of its basketball team, Reza Chemical, in the recently concluded 5th Conference, the company has agreed to be major sponsor as well as participant by again fielding a team to defend the Inter-Commercial A title.

Reza Chemical Industries, a division of Reza Investment Co. Ltd., is a contract manufacturer of high quality chemical products for personal care, homecare and institutional brand owners. It will use Reza Hygiene brand in its sponsorship of the OFBL 6th Conference.

The contract signing for the sponsorship took place Tuesday at the Reza office factory in Phase 3 Second Industrial City.

Dr. Garry Sillett, head of quality and product development, said they are excited to be sponsor of this kind of event for the first time and participate at the same time in the tournament as a way of product exposure and as part of promoting the well-being of its employees.

In addition to Sillett the others from Reza that attended the contract signing were Business Development Manager Ahmed Al Dasouki and Jose Macaraeg of Buyer Supply Chain Dept. Commissioner Rocky Gil and Executive Secretary Rimar Baluyot represented the OFBL.

On his part, Gil said he and OFBL Chairman Boy Teves and the committee are making an effort to provide an outlet for basketball entertainment not only for individuals but families as well.
