RIYADH: Barely a month after its successful first major of the year, Nofa Golf Resort looks to have another event to earn stamp of approval from the ever discerning golfers of various skill levels, with the golf course again put in top shape.

Close to a hundred players are expected to tee it up Friday for the 2nd Riyad Bank Golf Tournament 2016 which takes place on the heels of the 2nd Hyundai-Wallan Golf Tournament 2016 on March 25.

Just like the Hyundai tourney Friday’s highly anticipated 18-hole competition will be a two ball Texas Scramble format with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.

The major prizes have been scaled down to the fifth place and the winning pair will each take home a Taylormade driver in addition to their trophies. A hole-in-one prize of Hyundai Santa Fe car on No. 16 is at stake sponsored by Arabian Shield. Also, participants will each receive a goody bag that contains Greg Norman golf polo shirt, cap, a sleeve of Titleist balls, Titleist sack pack, golf towel and tournament bag tag.
