JEDDAH: Pak Green beat Maazco by 6 wickets, unbeaten Ace Travels maintained their winning streak as they ran through Natco by 166 runs and fancied Desert Warriors lost to revitalized Tamer by 4 wickets during the sixth-week matches of the Ace Travel Premier League cricket morning session, organized by the Jeddah Cricket Association.

In the upset of the day, Desert Warriors batted first and scored 198 for 6 against Tamer. Waseem scored an unbeaten 97 runs. Khalide (20) and Junaid (30) were the other run getters.

Rayees 2 for 32 and Afroz 2 for 26 were the wicket takers.

In reply Tamer reached their target and scored 200 for 6. Afroz scored a match winning 58 runs while Rayeesuddin made 55. Islam 2 for 45, Khalid 1 for 22 and Ashfaq 1 for 23 did their best.

Later, Maazco batted first and scored 174 for 6 in their allotted overs. Nasir top-scored with 58 runs. Zaheer made an unbeaten 41 and Imran Mani got 29. Asim Khan bagged 3 for 9. Pak Green reached 178 for the loss of 4 wickets. Shaan Malik Manzoor scored a brisk 55. Amir Wahla played equally well and remained unbeaten on 73. Azhar took 2 for 16 for the bowling side.

In another match, Ace Travels elected to bat first after they won the toss and piled up a mammoth 328 for 4 against Natco.

The bulk of the runs came from the blade of inform opening batsman Abdul Wahid who hit a record 133 runs off 43 balls as he punished all the Natco bowlers in his whirlwind innings. His opening partner Shahzad Ahmed made 69 runs off only 20 balls. Later Rashid (43), Amer Shahzad (62) and Mumrez Khan (21) propped up the innings. Ijaz 1 for 66, Humayun 1 for 60 and Abdul Raheem 1 for 43 were the bowlers who picked wickets for Natco. In reply, Natco were bundled out for a paltry 182 for 6. Rana Yasin (48), Naeem (19), Fahad (19), Chand (19), Mohammad Ijaz (35) and Faisal (22) were some of the batsmen who resisted the Ace Travels bowlers. Skipper Pervaiz Khan took 3 for 23 and Bilal 2 for 22.
