RIYADH: Diamond 1, Kokan Green, Run Riderz and Jamiaa reached the Premier Divison semifinals while for Super Divison Mehran, Evergreen, Mazaya & Pakhton registered wins in Week 6 of Inaugural Mumtaz Champions Trophy at RCL Complex.

The tournament is organized by Riyadh Cricket League and sponsored by Mumtaz Cricket Academy, part of Mumtaz Group.

The week’ highlights saw excellent batting performances by Khawar 66, Asgar 61, Feroz 56, Rayees 52 and Saifullah 50 to go with the outstanding bowling displays by Manoj 4overs 21Runs 4wkts, half Centuries by K hawar, Asgar , Feroz , Rayees,Saifullah, Mustafa and Farmaan. Also, Manoj and Zabiullah enjoyed all-round performances.

Quarterfinals ( Premier Division ):

Jamiaa CC beat Cricketers CC by 5 wkts. Batting first Cricketrs CC made 138 runs. Mumtaz was the top run maker, with 38 runs tight bolwing spell by Naaz 3 wkts & Zabiullah 2 wkts. In reply, Jamiaa CC had a Slow start losing both openers.But later Jamiaa CC fought back and Moin 40 was the top scorer well supported by Ejaz & Zabi 28. Man of the Match: Zabiullah.

Diamond 1 CC got the better of Fakhre Afghan CC by 43 runs. Batting first Diamond 1 CC made a 198 runs. Feroz scored 56 runs, Taib afzal supported well by 48 runs & SHaji 42 runs. Shoiab took 2 wickets.

In reply Fakhre Afghan CC Failed to reach target, with kamran was the top run maker, with 43 runs.

Shaheen CC Bowlers are excellent line & length to restrict 150 runs. Haider & Taib Afzal took 2 wickets. Man of the Match: Feroz.

Run Riderz CC got the better of Khalil Star CC by 50 runs. Batting first Run Riderz CC made a 184 runs. Rayees & Saleem had a good partnership in middle order Rayees scored 52 runs and Saleem supported well by 33 runs. Shoib took 2 wickets.

In reply Khalil Star CC failed to chased the total and fell short by 50 runs. Ayaz scored 29 runs and shoib 28 runs. Asim & Sameer claimed 3 wickets each. Man of the Match: Rayees

Konkan Green cc beat Diamond 2 CC by 5 wickets. Batting first Diamond 2 made 151 runs. Azhar was the top run maker, with 58 runs supported by Khawaja with 38 runs. Manoj 4 wickets & Siraj 3 wickets. In reply Konkan Green had a great start Saifullah was the top run maker, with 50 runs supported by Manoj with 38 runs & Tabish 24 runs, reached the target in 18th over. Azhar took 2 wickets each. Man of the Match: Saifullah.


Super Division: ( League matches):

Mazaya Hyd Boys beat Telangana Warriors by 5 wkts. Batting first Warriors bowled out at 122 runs. Q. Javed was the top run maker with 35 runs supported by Tahir with 25 runs. Brillant bowling spell by Fayaz 3 wickets & fazil 2 wickets.

In reply Mazaya Hyd Boys had a great start with Asgar was the top run maker, with 61 runs supported by Ismial with 20 runs and chased down the target with in 12 overs. Man of the Match: Asghar.

In other matches, Evergreen CC beat Mughal CC by 47 runs and Pakhton Khawan beat Royal fighters by 6 wkts.
