Pagtalunan, Lim January champs in OFBC monthly tourney

The OFBC’s first in a series of monthly tournaments to culminate in the Bowler of the Year finals took place recently at Ice Land Bowling Center.
Drawing first blood as the January champions were Cesar Pagtalunan in the men’s division and Carms Lim in the ladies division.
Pagtalunan and Lim both had it easy during the two games with handicap sudden death final.
Class B bowler Pagtalunan rolled two-game series of 373 (147-202) to win by a whopping 37 pins from Lexter Atienza who could only muster 336 (161-139).
Benjie Espinosa and Tito Cruz tied on 320 but Espinosa won the second runner-up prize after the high-low score to break the tie was applied. Espinosa carded games of 149-135 and had the lowest diference of 14 between the highest score and lowest score. Cruz was on 28 with his games of 156-128.
The ladies race was even more lopsided, Lim shooting 370 (158-164) to win with tons to spare against first runner-up Delia Javing 307 (136-103).
Beginning bowler Hazel Jane Junio tasted a measure of success after she finished second runner-up on 300 (110-102) while Fedelyn Bustinera rounded out the podium winners on 292 (135-109).
