The Indian Youth Welfare Association (IYWA) held an introductory symposium at a local restaurant in Jeddah on the upcoming business simulation workshops, which will take place in March in Riyadh and Jeddah.
The symposium familiarized the participants with the features and benefits of the workshops, which will target professionals from the insurance, banking and consumer retail industries, who wish to develop and enhance their professional skills.
Mir Gazanfar Ali Zaki, the general secretary of the IYWA, said: “Our aim in organizing such programs is to develop the skills of the Indian youth and expand their educational development.”
Almost 50 professionals from various fields attended the workshop. Surendra Pal Singh, president of the IYWA welcomed the gathering, while Hassan Bayazeed, patron of the association, directed the symposium.
The guest speaker, Abu Shafquat, principal partner of Primera Networks LLP of the United Kingdom, introduced the attendees to the innovative and advanced workshops conducted by his company.
Primera Networks’ workshops, in collaboration with Dr. Abdullah Al-Juffali Center for Education and Training, specialize in training professionals from the financial sector, developing their skills in a dynamic and interactive approach.
“We strive to equip young executives with the skills to help them overcome the challenges they face in this sector and excel in their field of activity. Business simulation is an innovative tool, which can engage participants in exciting business models, without the threat of real-life failure.
We are confident the insurance and banking sector executives will understand more about the factors influencing their work, as well as enjoy the learning experience,” Shafquat explained.
He added that these workshops have been conducted in the United Kingdom and other European countries in a number of banks and insurance companies.
