Arab National Bank (ANB) has reported a net profit of $767 million for 2014 compared to $673 million in 2013.

ANB total operating income reached $1,469 million compared to $1,363 million for the same period last year, an increase of 7.8 percent.

By the end of 2014, assets reached $43.9 billion and investments reached $9.0 billion, while the loans portfolio reached $27.7 billion and customers’ deposits reached $34.6 billion.

Commenting on the bank’s results, Robert Eid, managing director and CEO, said: “The increase in the bank’s profits resulted principally from balanced growth in various business lines, and its conservative risk management culture.”
