Banque Saudi Fransi (BSF) has reported a net profit of SR2,666 million for the nine months ended Sept. 30, 2014 compared to SR2,132 million for the same period last year, an increase of 25.05 percent.

BSF recorded a net profits of SR926 million for the third quarter of 2014 compared to SR685 million for the same period last year, an increase of 35.18 percent.

Total operating income for the nine months of 2014 reached SR4,366 million compared to SR3,772 million for the same period last year, an increase of 15.75 percent.

Total assets stand at SR183 billion as of September 30, 2014, an increase of 9.04 percent compared to the same period last year.

Investments amounts to SR47 billion, while the loans portfolio reaches SR118 billion and customer deposits stands at SR132 billion.

Earnings per share is SR2.21 against SR1.77 for the corresponding nine months of the previous year.

Patrice Couvegnes, managing director, welcomed these results. He said: “Good contribution from different business lines coupled with sustained effort on risk management, have enabled BSF to record a strong financial performance since the beginning of the year. Overall, those strong quarterly results are supporting the launch of BSF Medium Term Plan 2014-2016.”
