One of the milestones in the development of trade relations between Saudi Arabia and the Czech Republic will be the upcoming Czech-Saudi business forum being held on Nov. 5 at the Zofín in Prague.

The Prague-based company, Shobokshi Investment which, among other things, provides services in the field of foreign trade, is organizing the event. The company expects that the forum will bring new investment opportunities between the two countries.

“We think that the Czech Republic interests investors from Saudi Arabia and vice versa. Our country offers many opportunities for Czech entrepreneurs but our ambitions go further. We would also like to build a strategic partnership between the two countries and develop good relations at the international level.

With our headquarters in Prague, we offer clients a strategic location for business and investment opportunities in the Middle East,” said Hussein Shobokshi, the company owner and honorary consul of the Czech Republic in Saudi Arabia.

The first Czech-Saudi business forum will be attended by senior management from a number of Czech and Saudi companies, notably import and export experts and international trade and government officials.

The conference will provide information on business opportunities in the markets of both countries and provide an opportunity to establish contacts and business cooperation as well.

The event aims to create a stronger and more productive partnership between the Czech Republic and Saudi Arabia.

“Not many of us know much about the Czech Republic. I believe this forum will be the first of its kind with a unique chance to explore bilateral trade and investment opportunities between the two countries, including the opening of the stock market to global institutional investors,” said Basil Al-Ghalayini, CEO of BMG Financial Group, who will be a speaker representing Saudi Arabia.
