Prince Fahd bin Muqrin says opening the Saudi stock market (Tadawul) to foreign investments is aimed at enhancing transparency, quality and efficiency in the market.
The Saudi economy is witnessing unprecedented leaps as a result of significant reforms undertaken by the wise leadership and contributing to strengthening its position as the largest Arab economy to enter the club of major economic Group of Twenty (G-20) member states in the world, a SPA report said quoting the prince.
He made the remarks during the opening of the first Saudi specialized exhibition in the field of equity and financial investment, which is being organized by the World Kingdom Group.
Prince Fahd said that the Kingdom’s efforts directed toward economic reforms and improving the business environment have resulted in attracting a lot of foreign investment and making a real addition to the national economy.
