LuLu Saudi Hypermarkets, a leading retail chain in the Kingdom, is all set to celebrate “Egyptian food festival” of t 2015 with the support of the Egyptian Embassy in Saudi Arabia.

This seven-day event, starting Wednesday, will showcase a variety of food products from Egypt.

Ahmed Abdelwahab, ambassador of Egypt to Saudi Arabia, will be the chief guest at the inauguration at 8 p.m. at LuLu Hypermarkets, Murabba.

Mohammed Hussain, representative of Egyptian Embassy Eastern Province, will inaugurate the event on the same day at Lulu Alkhobar.

The festival will be attracting Egyptian food lovers to relish their favorite cheese ranges of Areesh, Domty, Roumy, Feta etc. 

The delicatessen department of LuLu is also packed with delicious olives, pickles and salads with special prices.

The Fruit and Vegetable Department will be showcasing fresh produce from Egypt with best prices.  Fresh fish varieties such as tilapia, grey mullet etc will be displayed in Sea Food section.

All stores in the Kingdom will be decorated with colorful replica of famous landmarks and icons in Egypt.

Another special attraction of the event is a cookery contest on Jan. 17. It will take place at Lulu Hypermarket Murabbah on special Egyptian recipes.

Lulu Alkhobar will organize an instant quiz program for customers on Egyptian culture and history. The winners will receive attractive prizes.
