DUBAI: Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower), the world’s largest district cooling services provider in terms of capacity, awarded a contract to expand its production capacity in TECOM-C area in Dubai.
The contract will add up to the company’s production by 30,000 refrigeration tons (RT).
The contract entails providing professional consultancy services for the full design, engineering, contract administration, construction supervision and project management of the company’s district cooling plant in TECOM-C area.
“This project at TECOM-C area is an important milestone for Empower in the projects we operate across Dubai. It reflects Empower’s strategy to expand its services geographically and add RT capacity,” said Ahmad bin Shafar, CEO, Empower.
The contract is part of Empower’s services to mega real estate developments in Dubai via world-class infrastructure and networking systems.
“Being the world’s largest district cooling company, we always strive to enhance our operations to cater to the needs of our rapidly increasing customer base in Dubai. This new project enhances our commitment to provide reliable district cooling services with outstanding quality to our customers in TECOM,” said Bin Shafar.
