As part of  Hamriyah Free Zone’s  expansion plans for 2015, a delegation from Hamriyah Free Zone participated in Acrex India 2015, one of South Asia’s largest event in air conditioning sector which was held at  the International Exhibition Center in Bangalore recently. 

“This  event provided an effective platform for  our team to interact with international exhibitors,”said Saud Salim Al-Mazrouei, director of Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA) and Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF Zone).

“With a participation of  over 390 exhibitors, this B2B and  B2C event was a good venue to meet potential investors. It also hosted a series of seminars and discussions,” said Ali Al-Jarwan, deputy commercial director of Hamriyah Free Zone Authority who led the delegation.

“A number of visitors from Germany, UK, Turkey, Malaysia, China, Singapore, Thailand, Russia, Netherlands, Belgium, USA, Hongkong,  France, Virginia visited our stand,” added Al Jarwan.

HFZA, which has emerged as the second largest free zone in the UAE, offers world-class economic infrastructure;  a wide range of products and facilities right from high-end flexible office spaces, pre-built warehouses, light industrial units, business parks and  fully developed plots. In addition, it issues licenses within two hours.

Currently, Hamriyah Free Zone houses over 6100 enterprises from across 157 countries, attracting foreign investment from more than 500 industry verticals in the key sectors like oil & gas, petrochemicals, maritime, steel, construction, and food.

Acrex India 2015, organized by the Indian Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) and supported by prestigious Indian associations like IGBC and BEE, is growing phenomenally every year and is becoming the platform for many international organizations like UNEP, CIBSE, REHVA, EBTC, AMCHAM, US Commercial Services, VDMA Germany, KRAIA Korea and CAR China to network with the Indian industry.
