KARACHI: Pakistani shares rose for a third straight session on Friday amid a marginal decline in foreign fund outflows, said dealers.

The benchmark 100-share index of the Karachi Stock Exchange .KSE closed up 0.44 percent, or 142.77 points, at 32,707.91.

The market saw outflows worth $15.5 million from Nov. 30 to Dec.3, Rizwan added.

Pharmaceutical stocks were in the limelight. GlaxoSmithKline Pakistan Ltd. and Highnoon Laboratories Ltd. gained 5 percent each.
