KARACHI: Pakistani shares ended lower on Wednesday due to roll-over by investors, traders said.
The benchmark 100-share index of the Karachi Stock Exchange closed down 0.43 percent, or 140.34 points, at 32,500.75. “After recording gains in the early hours of the trade, the market came under selling pressure mainly on account of futures’ contract settlement and roll-over by investors,” said Arhum Ghous, a trader at JS Global Capital.
