RIYADH: Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC), received at his office in Riyadh, Baghdad Amreyev, adviser to the prime minister of Kazakhstan, who was accompanied by Bakyt Batyrshayev, ambassador of Kazakhstan to Saudi Arabia, and Saken Iztay, consul, Kazakhstan, in Riyadh.

Hassna Alturki, executive manager for International Relations to the chairman, Fahad bin Nafil, senior executive assistant to the chairman and Ahmed Altobaishi, executive assistant to the chairman, also attended the meeting.

The meeting began as the Amreyev thanked the Prince for giving him the opportunity to meet him.

Amreyev relayed a message from the Prime Minister and extended an invitation to the prince from the president to visit the country to explore investment opportunities there in different fields such as financial services sector, petrochemicals real estate and discussed a number of issues including the current global economic situation.

Amreyev expressed that Kazakhstan is keen on attracting the prince to invest in the country.

In conclusion to the meeting, the Prince promised to visit Kazakhstan in near future and to consider possible investment opportunities for further study.

In 2008, Prince Alwaleed visited Kazakhstan and met with the President Nursultan Nazarbayev in response to an official invitation.
