ALKHOBAR: A subsidiary of Saudi Arabian Mining Co (Maaden) has restarted an ammonia plant after a brief shutdown for repairs at a cooling facility, Maaden said on Wednesday.

Maaden had previously said it expected the plant, at Ras Al Khair, to be shut for almost 10 days from March 23.

There was no impact on production of diammonium phosphate, a fertiliser for which ammonia is a feedstock, Ma'aden reiterated in a statement.
