Riyad Bank is set to support a new community-based capacity building initiative in the northern province of Al-Jouf. The initiative, which is named "grow" and is being run by Al-Jouf’s Al-Bir Charity at its Al-Jouf vocational training center for women, will enable women to develop skills that will enable them to take up employment in the local market.

By signing up with Al-Jouf’s Bir Charity women in the region can enroll in four different areas of study, including IT skills, sewing and embroidery, cooking and baking, and beauty and fashion.

As part of its strategic agreement with Al-Jouf’s Al-Bir Charity and its commitment to the region’s development and empowerment of women in the area, Riyad Bank will cover in full the cost of setting up the training courses. Riyad Bank will also finance eight different classes across the four areas of study, which will empower over 100 women from Al-Jouf with new skills and support their entry into the local job market.
