Turkish Airlines has announced four additional flights to be operated from Riyadh to Istanbul during the Eid Al-Adha holiday in response to increased demand to travel to Istanbul and beyond.

The increased flights build on the remarkable growth achieved by Turkish Airlines in terms of passenger traffic from Saudi Arabia — which grew 71 percent in the first 6 months of this year compared to the same period in 2011.

Two additional flights are set to depart on Oct. 10 and 11 from Riyadh to Istanbul, and another two return flights will operate from Istanbul on both Oct. 19 and 20.

These new flights add to the existing 66 weekly flights from Saudi Arabia, according to an airline press release.
