Boeing has announced that it will pay two months’ salary to locally hired employees on its Saudi payroll.

The decision follows an order from Custodian of the Two Holly Mosques King Salman to pay this amount to Saudi state employees.

“Boeing’s relationship with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia dates back 70 years, so we are excited to be able to celebrate the accession of King Salman by providing two months’ salary to locally hired Boeing employees in Saudi Arabia,” said Ahmed Jazzar, president of Boeing in Saudi Arabia.  

“This salary also serves as a token on our appreciation and an expression of our thanks for the Boeing team’s continued efforts in the Kingdom and a recognition of their success in the fields of aviation and defense.”

Jazzar also expressed his gratitude to the king for the kind gesture, as well as all his efforts in furthering the economic development of the Kingdom.
