RIYADH: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul)has announced success of the new trading platform, X-Stream INET, applied two weeks ago.

Tadawul is the first market in the Middle East to use X-Stream INET, and the sixth in the world.

In a statement, Tadawul CEO Adel Al-Ghamdi expressed satisfaction over the success of the new platform after two years of hard work and commitment by a distinguished work team that exerted unabated efforts to secure smooth shift to the new system.

The new platform allows development of the market, the launch of new services, offering advanced trading advantages as well as tools for managing risks.

X-stream INET is the latest in trading solutions and is the fastest recorded trading engine in the world. It handles the trading of equities, sukuk, bonds and ETFs.
