The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY) has organized a workshop to reveal the commercial and residential investment opportunities for Yanbu Industrial City.
The RCJY aims through this workshop to support local investments in Yanbu and encourage the private sector’s efforts in the construction sector and promote national growth.
The workshop aims at discussing the aspirations and suggestions of investors about these opportunities as a prelude to preparing the marketing plan for 2015.
Alaa Nassif, CEO of the Royal Commission of Yanbu (RCY), said Commission Chairman Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thunayan Al-Saud aims to activate the participation of the private sector while highlighting investment opportunities.
The commission aims at enhancing customer services and increasing growth in investments.
Nassif said: “The workshop aims to introduce the RCY’s efforts to ease procedures for investors, as providing electronic services for investment applications and available opportunities.”
He said the RCJY offered investment opportunities worth SR1.8 billion.
Nassif said the increased growth in industrial investments led to an increase in demand for residential units, which reflected positively on commercial projects.
Studies of economic indicators for the city confirmed the rise of commercial and residential investment returns.
“Growth rate in investments during the past four years registered about 18 percent annually,” confirmed Nassif, adding indicators of expected growth over the next ten years recorded 12.6 percent growth in residential applications and 11.6 percent in commercial applications annually.
