Aramco is the biggest and most important oil company in the world, so when they recognize a company’s efforts in Saudi Arabia as a “success story” then this should rightly be recognized as an accolade.

EagleBurgmann Saudi Arabia, who hold Aramco manufacturing approvals for mechanical seals and also for industrial gasket products, were recently afforded this honor when Jeff Stewart, EBKSA managing director, was asked to take part as a guest speaker at the Aramco Supplier Symposium in Den Haag, Netherlands, on April 18, to explain to the 150 delegates in attendance just how EagleBurgmann have performed so well, and to illustrate how they have embraced the “Nitaqat” nationalization program to help grow their business in Saudi Arabia.

EagleBurgmann recently won multi-million dollar contracts at Sadara, Satorp, Sasref and Maa’den among others, for manufacture, supply and service their mechanical seals, as well as significant contract awards for manufacture and supply of their expansion joints and gasket product ranges.

Stewart was also a member of a three-man panel in a Q&A session where symposium delegates interested in doing business in Saudi Arabia could utilize the panel’s regional knowhow to support their own future plans for doing business in Saudi Arabia.

Stewart has worked in the Middle East region for over twenty years, and in the three years he has been managing director of EagleBurgmann Saudi Arabia the company has seen a 50 percent growth in business year-on-year.
