A Mobily Club for Apps Developers has opened at Mobily’s headquarters in Riyadh.

It aims to gather all those interested in the world of application under one roof.

The new club provides a special opportunity for developers, as they find the necessary support, training and tools to work on their applications, in addition to a number of workshops that will be held.

This makes it the most suitable place in the Kingdom for those interested in the world of applications.

An advanced workshop, titled “Android Day,” was held on the sidelines of the club’s opening ceremony. It dealt mainly with libraries concerned mainly in face and voice recognition in the Android Face Recognition.

Practical models were offered particularly those succeeded in adding such libraries for applications.

The workshops also discussed the new work environment in the Android system “Android Studio” and this what makes it different from other work environments.

The activities of the club were reviewed in addition to other activities related to applications through Mobily’s portal: Developers.mobily.com.sa.

During the activities, there was an announcement inviting novice developers to register for a free training course hosted by the club on the Android system. This will start next week.

The launch of this club is considered a qualitative move in providing an appropriate environment for application developers, as it provides innovative ideas aiming to upgrade the efficiency and quality of applications, especially during the availability of a unique opportunity to exchange experiences with the best developers in the Kingdom which helps them significantly.

Mobily is keen to launch a variety of events for application developers.

The  company holds annually (Mobily Competition for Apps Developers) which usually witnesses big turnout and participation by developers from all over the Arab world, in addition to the “Applications Forum” which contributes to the increase of participations in building mobile applications and software which are compatible with Islamic and Arab identity.
